Job Description

This position is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional with experience selling integrated media programs including print ads, digital, conferences, and marketing service programs. This individual will sell ad pages, magazine, website, webinar sponsorship, email newsletter advertising and other digital media products.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and grow a $700k+ US account territory across 4-5 brands.
• Manage existing customers and prospect new clients to build long-term relationships, customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Create presentations and proposals designed to meet our client goals
• Collaborate with sales teams on accounts and prospects cross selling opportunities for media, events and marketing solutions
• Understand product suite and other services that are available for clients
• Accurately forecast territory revenue, and achieve magazine and digital media revenue goals
• Travel to industry events to meet with existing customers, prospect for new customers, close business, and raise visibility for Medmark in the industry
• Maintain customer/prospect database

Essential Qualifications:

• 5+ years advertising/media sales experience.
• Proven sales experience: new customer generation, ability to successfully close sales, ability to retain existing client base, strong digital media sales skills, strong customer service skills and the ability to perform as an independently but work well with a cross functional team
• Must understand web-based advertising solutions. Examples include but are not limited to: webinars, podcasts, web banners, and other Internet media related concepts.
• Consultative selling approach leveraging MedMark’s editorial reputation and market leadership to assist in the sale.
• Ability to travel to customers and events as needed.
