Preferred Care at Home of Westchester and Putnam is a family-oriented home care agency and we are currently looking for Experienced Caregivers to join our dynamic team. As a Caregiver, you're responsible for providing non-medical care and companionship for clients who need assistance in their daily living needs. Essential Job Functions: * Assisting clients with their Activities of Daily Living that include companionship, meal preparations, laundry, light housekeeping, assistance with hygiene regimens, stand-by walking, grocery shopping, errands, and doctor appointments. * Engages clients in an appropriate conversation. * Entertains clients by reading newspapers or books, playing memory games, completing puzzles, etc. * Compliance with agency policies related to all areas of privacy and confidentiality.
