Our work depends on the Cyber Security Analyst Senior joining our team to work as Cyber Security Specialist II with a Secret Clearance, supporting a federal Security Operations Center (SOC).

HOW A CYBER SECURITY ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
  • Performs forensic analysis of digital information and gathers and handles evidence.
  • Identifies network computer intrusion evidence and perpetrators
  • Responsible for implementation and maintenance, such as platform and software patching, of operating system and related software in support of cyber related activities.
  • Establishes and implements standards for computer operations, consistent with documented customer cyber policies, for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.
  • Monitors system resources, aids in the design, and implements backup and recovery processes, and troubleshoots system issues and outages.
  • Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and, when necessary, performs data recoveries.
  • Automates processes to streamline monitoring, troubleshooting, deployment, and maintenance capabilities.
  • Generally considered a specialist in area of assignment. May lead individuals assisting in the work.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Education: BA/BS Degree (or three (3) years of additional experience in lieu of degree)
  • Required Experience: seven (7+) years of related experience
  • Security Clearance Level: a current Secret clearance is required.
  • Location: Washington, DC
  • Timeline: This work is anticipated to start in August 2025 - February 2026 timeframe
  • US Citizenship Required

The likely salary range for this position is $94,676 - $128,092. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
