**Job Overview:**
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our laundry facilities and guest rooms, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience for all our guests.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Learn and adhere to our brand guidelines and standards to ensure consistency in service.
- Clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas to meet established cleanliness standards, ensuring guest satisfaction and maximizing revenue.
- Maintain hotel rooms and common areas to provide a safe and clean environment for guests, staff, and vendors.
- Set up and organize cleaning carts with necessary supplies, keeping them and storage areas tidy for efficient cleaning.
- Clean windows, doors, walls, closets, and fixtures in guest rooms, public areas, and hallways.
- Wash shower walls and tubs, clean toilets and stall walls, and ensure restrooms are sanitary and well-maintained.
- Replace towels, soaps, and room amenities, restocking any items that are soiled or missing to ensure a pleasant stay for arriving guests.
- Hand wash hard floor areas (linoleum, tile, etc.) to remove dirt and maintain cleanliness.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and wall hangings to enhance the overall appearance of the property.
- Strip beds of used linens and remake them with fresh linens.
- Check closets for cleanliness, wipe down surfaces, and restock guest room supplies (e.g., hangers, extra blankets, extra pillows).
- Vacuum guest rooms, public areas, and hallways to maintain a clean environment.
- Inspect door and window locks to ensure they are secure, promptly reporting any safety concerns to management.
- Test lights and remotes to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times, contributing to a positive guest experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and enhance guest satisfaction.
**Qualifications:**
- Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, cleaning products, and standard cleaning equipment.
- Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, reach overhead, bend, and stoop to perform cleaning tasks.
- Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs and lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
