Position Overview:

The IT Human Capital Management (HCM) Functional Analyst is responsible for collaborating with Human Resources (HR), Payroll, and other business function teams to streamline business processes, optimize the use of business information systems, and plan/develop/execute the overall HCM roadmap.

On-site in Lynchburg, Virginia

Your Day to Day as an IT Human Capital Management (HCM) Functional Analyst: 

• Configures and supports SAP Time Management module for time entry, approval & evaluation.
• Supports ongoing system and solution enhancements and develops solutions to increase business process efficiency.
• Collaborates and leads initiatives with responsibilities including process improvement, design and development, testing and validation, user training, and documentation.
• Engages and collaborates with external vendors and systems integrators.
• Works with the development team to deliver reports, enhancements, forms, interfaces, IDOC/ALE integration.
• Works closely with the business to gather requirements, design solutions, test & train users and deploy solutions.

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration, or a related field plus a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience OR a high school diploma/equivalent plus a minimum of fourteen (14) years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience as an SAP ERP Functional Analyst, with a focus on Time Management.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
• Experience with HR / HCM systems, timekeeping, payroll systems, and ERP including SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, Workday, AutoTime, and Jamis.
• Hands on experience with HR / HCM and Time/Payroll information systems.
• Experience capturing business requirements, developing solution designs, planning and conducting data migrations, information system harmonization, and portfolio shaping.
• Experience participating with PMO, business steering committee, or similar governance models.
• Excellent written, oral, presentation, and intrapersonal communication skills with a strong customer orientation.
• Should be good at troubleshooting and ability to adapt quickly to new systems and technologies.
• Understand the integration of time management with other SAP applications, Time systems (Jamis, Autotime, etc.).
• Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certification in Time Management.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of integration points between Time Management and other SAP modules.

Pay: $85,000 - $134,000

The base salary range for this position in Virginia (US-VA) at the start of employment is expected to be between $85,000 and $134,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
