Treasury Analyst I Location Georgia :

Salary Range: $42,000 - $98,000

Worker Designation - This role is hybrid . This means you will be expected to report to one of our Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership.

What does it take to be successful in this role?

• Demonstrated ability to understand and use computer systems and application tools for analysis

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

• General knowledge of cash management products and processes of U.S. financial institutions

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB)

• Basic understanding of and experience with SAP functionality and configuration preferred

Education & Experience Required

• Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
• Two years of professional job-related work experience
• Experience performing financial and statistical analysis

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Assists treasury leaders in developing value-added content for various senior management and board committee meetings and presentations

• Collaborates with the Treasury team and a range of internal business partners including Risk, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Tax, Legal, and FP&A

• Assists in debt raising and credit facility analysis and execution

• Supports holding company foreign exchange derivative program and short-term investment management

• Performs independent analysis in various corporate finance related areas including leverage ratios, intrinsic value, share repurchase return, weighted average cost of capital, and other items, as needed

• Provides management with support for special projects

• Performs other related duties as assigned

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate. The salary range for this position is $42,000 to $98,000.
