We help everyday runners become outstanding by providing world-class training, coaching and community for everyone, whether you're improving your 5k time or training for your first marathon. To date we have built iOS, Android and Apple watch apps that help people achieve their goals by coaching them through the full journey and syncing to their favorite fitness devices.

We’re growing extremely fast and in November 2023 closed a new $6.5M funding round led by JamJar with participation from Eka Ventures, Venrex and Creator Ventures. In 2024, we were selected by Apple as one of three global finalists for the 2024 iPhone App of the Year , reflecting the innovation and impact of what we’ve built. Requirements

What you’ll be doing

We are looking for a talented and creative  Videographer + Editor  to help to join our Runna TV team. In short, you’ll be planning, capturing and editing a range of video and photo content to bring the Runna TV YouTube channel to life. You will work across a variety of areas, including documenting races and events, shooting in-studio content, producing social posts, and working with our amazing ambassadors and coaches on shoot days. This role not only includes capturing and editing the content but also taking ownership of the creative briefs.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Capturing, editing, and delivering high-quality long-form and short-form content based on creative briefs
• Working with our amazing coaching team to create engaging long-form coaching and training content, as well as cutdown edits for social media.
• Working closely with our ambassadors on shooting both scripted and documentary style content in a professional and efficient manner
• Taking ownership over the editing and post-production process, making sure we are following best practices for engagement on YouTube and Social Media

• Being Creative : You’re always thinking of new ways to improve our visual content and keep our audience engaged.
• YouTube: You regularly spend time on the platform and pay attention to what’s trending and why it’s successful.
• Running : We need someone who understands and loves running - you get what it means to be a runner and can create content that reflects our community and inspires and motivates runners everywhere. ****
• Travel: Given a big part of your role will be to capture Runna events and races, as well as to film with ambassadors around the world, we’re looking for someone who is excited and ready to travel. We’ll ensure you’re comfortable with hotels and travel arrangements when this is needed.
• Flexibility: W e’re looking for someone happy to flex their hours to evenings and weekends when needed. In practice, we expect that this will mean you will likely start later some days and/or take your ‘weekend’ on a weekday to make this work.

What experience we’re looking for

We care more about you looking at the ‘We’re looking for someone that loves…’ section and thinking ‘Wow I was born to do this job’ than years of experience. That said,  we do need you to have demonstrable experience creating video and photo content in (ideally) a running / sports setting.  As part of the application process, we’ll expect you to send us a portfolio of imagery and video content that you’ve produced that reflects the type of content you will be producing in this role.

Key Skills:

• Experience creating video content for YouTube.
• Proficient in tools like Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar.
• Confident filming with mirrorless and cinema cameras.
• Ability to identify and capture compelling moments independently.
• Experienced in shooting and editing videos that align with brand guidelines.
• Strong portfolio showcasing videos that capture and hold attention.
• Comfortable producing both long-form and short-form video content.
• Efficient at managing multiple projects and delivering content at speed.

Interview process

Our aim is to keep the interview process as straightforward and enjoyable as possible. Once you’ve applied via  Workable and submitted your portfolio, the process will consist of the following stages:

1. Introductory Chat - 25 minute video call with the Talent team
2. Interview - 30 minute video call with Dills (Head of Runna TV)
3. Interview & Take Home Task - 60 minute video call with with Dills (Head of Runna TV) and Charlotte (Social Content Lead)
4. Boston Office Visit - 15 minute in-person chat with Dills (Head of Runna TV), 15 minute in-person chat with Lou (GM of North America), 30 minute panel with Social Team, 30 minute video call with Ben (Co-Founder and Head Coach)

Once the process is finished, we promise to let you know our decision as soon as possible.

Benefits and options

We offer a salary of $70,000 - $90,000 (depending on experience), plus equity in the form of Runna stock options.
